People Possibilities was founded in 2006 by Lisa Pickup.

“As a strategic organisational development consultant and executive coach with extensive experience in the corporate world, I believe the route to enhanced organisational performance and leadership success is unleashing the innate potential which exists in people and teams.

Throughout my career, I have devoted both my passion and energy to helping organisations and individuals define their vision of success, whilst harnessing their strengths to become the best that they can be.

This passion led me to start, People Possibilities, a client-focused consultancy designed to create strong leaders and to improve performance within organisations. Since its origins more than 10 years ago, People Possibilities has helped both private and public organisations define and articulate their goals, drive change and unleash their potential. 

People Possibilities delivers results by focusing on the three pillars of change, leadership, and teams. As part of this, I personally work with each of our clients to develop a bespoke service and programme that services the specific aspirations for their organisation. 

Whether it’s designing global performance and talent frameworks; developing customised learning programmes or coaching effective leaders and building strong teams, I combine my extensive sectorial experience in industries such as financial services, media, professional services, outsourcing and the public sector with a warm, hands-on approach to make change happen within organisations.”

With over 25 years of experience working with global organisations, such as HSBC, ABN AMRO, BP, Schroders, M&S, BBC Worldwide, the Bertelsmann Group, and FremantleMedia, People Possibilities has partnered with a variety of c-suite executives and Boards, as well as a wide range of SMEs from a variety of industries.

I am an experienced coach who has partnered with dozens of executive and senior level management, and I bring an energising, collaborative, and pragmatic style to my clients. In addition, I have extensive expertise working across global and complex-matrixed organisations with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

I hold a postgraduate qualification in Human Resources from the University of Westminster and completed my undergraduate degree in International Studies and French at the University of Birmingham.

People Possibilities initially supported Arvato Financial Services in designing and implementing a new matrixed organisational structure in readiness for its application for FCA regulation. A further project was then completed to define and embed new cultural values to underpin the new strategy and drive the required behavioural change across the company.


“ Lisa began working with us in 2012 when we asked her to establish a process of 360 reviews and performance appraisals.  In 2017 we asked Lisa to design and implement a strategic HR plan to incorporate additional elements such as recruitment, training and remuneration.  This required careful consideration of our business objectives and values.  In this way our approach to HR became an integral part of our business planning and branding.
